Melody is a passionate pianist with 20 years of playing experience, and specializing in jazz for the past 13 years. She believes music is a language, and loves helping students find their own voice through piano. With a strong foundation in music theory and jazz improvisation, she encourages creativity while building technical skills. Melody has composed, arranged, and performed music in various settings, even doing comedic improvisation accompaniment at one point! It's as unusual as it sounds. She tailors lessons to each student's unique learning style, making music fun and approachable. Her goal is to inspire students to explore, express, and enjoy the art of playing piano.
