Robin Hackett is a naturally gifted singer, songwriter and author who
brilliantly conveys inspiring, heartfelt messages through her music and words. At an early age, she self taught herself guitar in lieu of watching TV and an unbreakable bond was formed. Wherever she travels, Robin always has her trusted guitar with her. Undeniably, it is truly where her heart and voice meet and blend into one. She has the ability to deliver powerful messages with beautiful rhythms that stay with you long after the music ends. Her sound has been compared to artists such as Sheryl Crow, Joni Mitchell, Norah Jones and Sarah Vaughn. Country, Folk, and Jazz are all home to her.

With Robin’s ability to expand beyond one genre, it has given her the ability to reach audiences and industry notoriety across multiple media platforms. She received a 1st round Grammy nomination for Best Jazz Vocal Album for her song More. Her song Hard Left appeared on the CBS hit comedy, How I Met Your Mother. Robin was also featured on CNBC Television as well as receiving editorial in Acoustic Guitar Magazine, PC Magazine, and Mac World Magazine. She has appeared on Rollingstone.com charts as well as receiving a #1 Jazz rank for “Saying Goodbye”, #2 Folk rank
for “Jimmy Dean”, and #3 Folk rank for “Come on Love”.

Robin studied songwriting with singer/songwriter Roseanne Cash at the Omega Institute in New York. She has opened for John Ondrasik and Five for Fighting, Sara Hickman, Keb’ Mo’, and Woodstock legend Ritchie Havens. Her collection spans 6 CDs of original music and an empowering book entitled Girl, You Are a Grown Ass Woman. When not on tour or songwriting, Robin focuses on another passion of hers, empowering young people through the arts, teaching voice, guitar, piano, theatre, musical theatre.
