Justine Sullivan

Justine is living her dream as a musician and music teacher here in Denver, and thoroughly enjoys fostering joy in the pursuit of music with her students. She holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Oboe Performance, K-12 Music Education, and Composition, and studied jazz piano extensively in Seattle under composer and pianist Wayne Horvitz. She taught classroom music in Jeffco Public Schools for many years before stepping away to teach studio lessons and raise a family. She performs regularly in orchestras, operas, musicals, and original bands and loves to share that passion and experience with her students.

At home, she continues working on founding a family band with her two rambunctious toddlers, graphic-designer husband, lazy dog, and grumpy cat. It's currently not going well.
