Jess Parsons

Before joining the American Music School, Jessica Parsons attended Friends University for Music Education. While there she performed with the university jazz combo and vocal program.  Parsons was featured during the university’s honor choir’s show case: Symphony of Spring.  While attending Friends, she also took part in the musical theatre department as an ensemble actress and singer. Jessica Parsons also attended University of Colorado at Denver, focusing on song writing and vocal performance.  Jessica Parsons has written and recorded three EPs and two full length albums as a lead singer of the folk-rock band, Glowing House.  Before her career in music, Jessica spent many hours performing in churches, with school honor choirs, and within the community.  Jessica spent a season in New Orleans, aiding those in need through FEMA in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. It was during this period where she began to perform more publically. She believes that all who are honest are interesting and that where words fail, music speaks.
