Dale Myres is a Colorado native, born and raised in Denver. As a child, Dale had some musical exposure taking piano and trumpet lessons for a short time. It wasn’t until Dale’s late thirties, he began to take music seriously. Dale’s musical journey lead him to new horizons by studying piano with Jim Mcrae and flute with Rob Gale, at American Music School. His love for music continued to grow by studying piano, flute, music theory and writing with Rob. American Music School sponsored two bands that he and two of Dale’s children participated in. Dale has been part of American Music School for fourteen years learning music. He is still a dedicated student and has been teaching at American Music School for four years.

Dale’s hobbies include playing sports of all kinds, collecting music and poetry from around the world, and studying various languages and cultures. Dale enjoys photography and works part time as a portrait, wedding and freelance photographer.
