Briant Merica

Briant Merica is one of American Music School’s own homegrown teachers. Briant began taking music lessons with American Music School at age 8 and particularly fell in love with the guitar. He has been playing for 18 years and has musical experience in a variety of genres including Rock, Metal, Blues, Jazz, County and Experimental.

Briant has been teaching guitar privately over 10 years and grew up learning both classical and electric guitar. He is extremely passionate about passing on his knowledge to others. Whether they are interested in learning some rock songs for a band, jamming to tunes they can write themselves, or becoming educated in the dynamics of music theory, Briant is happy to share the intricacies of music with anyone, no matter their skill level. Any student willing to open their minds to the possibilities of music will feel right at home with Briant!
